Our assignment was to create a 1-2 minute soundscape of something that could happen in an actual 1-2 minute period of time. For my project my partner and I decided to do a soundscape of a girl driving to a dog park.
My partner and I approached this project by first planning out what sounds we needed and which were going to create using foley and which we were going to find online. We started with creating the foley sounds of the dog walking, the girl walking, the sound of the leash, and the dog getting in the car and then we then started to find all of our other sounds through online sources.
Once we had all of our sounds we started to put them into Imovie to create the soundscape. We went scene by scene following outline making sure everything was perfect before we moved on. Within each scene we started with the primary sounds and worked our way through layering other sounds. Here is out project!
